Did you go overboard during the Holidays?

Did you have too many crossovers? too many Heavy s meals?

Did you go off plan?

Did you do the unthinkable and derail completely?

Me too! It is okay the world will not come to an end!

Holidays are fast and furious and some times as well as we intend to plan ahead we are not ready for that unexpected call to a coffee and Holiday treat to catch up with a friend .

Lets face it relationships are the most important thing! It is hard not to get wrapped up in the warm fuzzy feeling of Christmas memories which come with tastes and flavors . Family favorite recipes and traditions are near and dear our hearts and tummies. How do you shy away from the smiling look on the face of Mom, while she waits for you to sample a bite of her famous pie?   Well honestly it was good, wasn’t it?  🙂

Okay.. so here we are ….lets get back on track, but not beat our bodies up!

Jump back on plan… eat every 3 – 4 hours rotating fuels ( S E FP)

Take an inventory of your pantry and fridge and freezer.
Make a menu plan with items you have on hand to help you get back on track. Don’t throw out all your food ! (also don’t eat 3 bags of hersheys mini chocolate bars or all the leftover pumpkin pie.)

You can make these items from the cook book subbing white turkey meat for chicken breast and dark meat for thighs or other chicken in the recipes.

  • Slow cooker fajitas
  • Chicken pot pie
  • Melt in your mouth BBQ
  • Chicken jalapeno popper soup
  • Orange Chicken
  • Buttah Chicken
  • Creamy creamless Chicken

I am sure that you get the idea now of what you can make with the turkey.

If you have leftover collars, eat those babies up GUILT FREE and enjoy the benefits of those lovely Greens!
